Cannabis
FAQ
"Cannabis is the King of plants. Its not just another plant, its greater then all the other plants combined, and the healthiest substance, for the finest plastics (it has the longest molecule), paper, fuel (clean and green), food (staple single source) and all fiber known to man.100 years ago everyone including children knew this and 85% of everything we used was derived from the plant. It was the number one subject taught in school. In 1941, Henry Ford built an entire car out of Cannabis, except for the engine. People who smoke Cannabis live 2 years longer then those who take no drugs, while smoke tobacco or drink alcohol reduces your life by around 8 - 24 years. You have got to be out of your mind not to smoke Cannabis once you know this information, and You should be complaining that the Government is keeping this information from us.
You would need to be insane not to put this information into your child's mind. To deprive them of this knowledge is to condemn your children to a life that is going to bring death, destruction and suffering for them and their children."
Q. What is Dagga?
A. Cannabis was, and is, noted as effective in that it “stimulates mental powers,” “creates energy,” “alleviates fatigue,” is “refreshing and stimulating” “creates the capacity for hard work and the ability to concentrate,” “sharpens the wits,” and “sharpens the memory.” (See British-Indian Hemp Commission’s report.)
Cannabis sativa and related species, e.g. (Indica/Ruderalis/Americana) a dioecious, herbaceous plant remarkable for its swift and prolific growth; a herbal or resious relaxant; an officinal ameliorant tonic; a safe, harmless substance smoked or taken orally, with numerous beneficial results to the enhancement of human health which are inseparable concomitant of the mild, pleasant sense of well-being rendered by its ingestion; an efficacious therapeutic substance with preventive and curative applications;
non-toxic; non-addictive, i.e. does not produce or induce physical or psychological dependence;
a substance witha long history of benefits to mankind;
yielding: seed as a staple food; vegetable oil; the standard fibre of textiles; cabbabis tea, bhang; oleraceous herb;
yielding also: cellulose-rich and calorific hurds (i.e. the woody bulk residuesafter fiber decortication) which, by industrial process (such as pulp and paper-making, pyrolysis and/or cellulosic polymerisation, etc) are resource to:
all types of paper and card products; tree/timber substitutes;
charcoal; paints; varnishes; tars;
plastics, all types; explosives; man-made fibers;
fuel-oil; methanol; gasoline, jetfuel, lubricants; etc.;
the cannabis biomass Energy Equation (CBEE)* establishes and explains as fact how, by the Cannabis Biomass Resource & Pyrolysis Functions (CBRPF) Cannabis is the economical substitute for oil, natural gas and coal (the fossil fuels) and uranium, in the production of fuel and generation of electricity;
pollution-free, ecologically superior;
the herb and its products; cultivated and marketed agricultural and horticultural produce, traded in and promoted under the market conditions as applicable to other agricultural produce such as tea, coffee, oranges, tomatoes and wheat.
Cultivated Cannabis is listed as an illegal drug in South Africa.
Cannabis is wrongly and illegally classified as a drug. It is in fact a safe, harmless herb.
* The Cannabis Biomass Energy Equation establishes as fact and explains how Cannabis produces fuel-energy more economically than fossil fuels and uranium. (Note: this formulation should not be confused with the assertion by some writers that Cannabis Biomass can replace fossil fuels, which is self-evident.) The Ecological, Political and Macro-Ecomonic implications of the aforesaid equation, establishes and explains as fact how Cannabis produces fuel-energy more economically for global amelioration, are of paramount magnitude.
Q. Who uses Cannabis?
A. A better question may be who should use it? There is no simple profile of a typical Grass user. It's been used by millions and millions of people from all walks of life for thousands of years for countless medical, social, industrial and religious reasons, as well as for personal relaxation. Smoked, eaten, drunk as a tea, or made into an oil, different strains have different effects, ranging from stone (medicinal) to stimulant (creative) to none at all (nearly all first time users), with no feeling of 'withdrawal' or 'hangover', no matter how frequent or long-term the use. Some even say it is an interface between us and the 4th dimension. Now that's good shit.
South Africa produced a low quality hemp 'test crop', but somehow never got beyond that stage, while ignoring the fact that countless data already exists on Marijuana farming. Many South African's say they have tried it, and the dream for me is that everyone will have access to the plant without fear.
Q. How Long Have People Used It For?
A. The record on Marijuana encompasses over 5,000 years of human experience. It has been common throughout history, and in South Africa, it is still used daily by enormous numbers of people. 100 years ago 85% of everything we used as humans was supplied or derived from the Cannabis plant. 30% of medication. It was taught in the schools, and everybody knew what it was and how important it was to cultivate. There was also no crime, lots of jobs, and everyone was happy, but that's another story.
Even the religious books were printed on hemp paper. The Big Guy put the Ganja plant here on earth for a reason, and He does not make any mistakes.
If you look at every civilization that has failed it has resulted because of food problems related to soil erosion (and vice versa). Cannabis solves both. Its grown pesticide and herbicide free, can survive drought, flood, frost, and all can be cultivated anywhere mankind lives.
Q. Why Is Cannabis Illegal?
A. The reason is very simple. Money, Control and Power.
100 years ago, if you looked in any medical book, or asked any doctor, they would have prescribed Cannabis for the treatment and prevention of nearly every condition. The Prohibitionists realised that if Cannabis was illegal, then where ever Cannabis was being used (medically or industrially), it could be 'replaced' by thier patented product or process (even if those products and procedures were inferior.)
By making Cannabis illegal, they removed your free access to a health promoting industrial plant, and replaced it with government protected monopolies. At the same time, it also empowered the 'criminals' who were now able to make exhorbitant profits on the newly 'illegal' commodities, which has led us to the situation we find today.
The criminals have used those profits to corrupt the government and prevent prosecution by buying protection. They also set up legit businesses to launder the money, thus creationg false market conditions in their favour.
How can your company compete against that?
All the while, the government has 'protected' the energy, pharmacutical, food, metals, etc huge multi national companies by providing them monopolies, patents, permits, BEE etc leading to the same high prices, low quality products and services, and thus more money for the government from corporate tax. Eskom, 35% monopoly protected increase. Petrol, price controlled by the government and OPEC. Food prices are going at 50% inflation. Last year flu cost me R10 for tablets. This year, Tamiflu for Swine flu is R1200 a course.
We are held hostage by a few people in government and international agencies, OPEC, ESKOM, Health care, food suppliers etc and the other illegal but government protected syndicate criminals so they can make money at our demise.
Prohibition has caused all the problems we have today, and the government, big companies and big syndicate criminals, all protected, take glee out of causing these inhumane suffering conditions.
End the prohibition, take that money, power and control back and give it to the people who really need it ... us.
Q. How Does It Affect Your Health?
A. "Nearly all medicines have toxic, potentially lethal effect. But marijuana is not such a substance. There is no record in the extensive medical literature describing a proven, documented Cannabis-induced fatality."
DEA Administrative Law Judge F.L.Young
After 150 years of scientific study the herb has been shown not to maltreat the user in any way (long or short term), and in fact be helpful, beneficial and benign. The smoke contains potential carcinogens if isolated, but the smoking and other forms of consumption do not lead to any possible cancers. Tobacco causes cancer due to radioactivity, but smoking Cannabis is perfectly safe. Actually, Cannabis has been shown to kill cancerous cells, even malignant cells. (see the 1974-1975 Medical College of Virginia tumour research instigated by the National Institute of Health and the D.E.A. for proof of the studies) Cannabinoids (the compounds found in the natural plant Cannabis) have even been shown to be selective antitumour compounds, as they can kill tumour cells without affecting their non-transformed counterparts. It is believed that unique cannabinoid receptors regulate cell-survival and cell-death pathways differently in tumour and non-tumour cells.
If it can kill and prevent cancer, what else can this amazing plant do?
There have been great advancements made in the field of Cannabis over the years, and by taking smaller inhalations with the stronger varieties that are available today, you can smoke less and get so much more. This is not the low class Cannabis your parents smoked in the 60's. That had to be smoked by the ton to get any benefit at all. Today, a dose of 50 to 100mg of smoked Cannabis is more then enough to receive the wonderful blessings of this amazing plant. Small doses as often as necessary are the best ways to smoke.
Some people use a "vaporizer" to release the Cannabis compounds without burning, and some by eating it. Essential oils can also be made and used on the skin. Personally I prefer a joint, but if you have trouble rolling them, pipes and bongs are always a hit, or it can be taken as a life-saving beverage.
More importantly, it is a safe and effective medicinal herb with proven therapeutic value in treating hundreds of symptoms and ailments, including glaucoma, MS, asthma, arthritis, cancer, AIDS, epilepsy, nausea, anorexia, depression, stress, etc. As DEA Administrative Law Judge F.L.Young observed in his 1988 review of cannabis data, "about the only danger were if a bale of it were to fall and hit you on the head."
Children should also be allowed access as the product is safe. Any 'adult-only restrictions are based on Prohibitionists' disinformation and is the expression of ignorant fear, not caution.
For as long as doctors are disallowed from issuing prescriptions for Cannabis as Preventive and Curative medicament, legalising Cannabis exclusively for adults leaves children, parents, doctors, and nurses in the invidious position which obtains today, of having to break the law should the child require to use Cannabis for one of its many Health applications. Placing the child and others in this position is, of course, unconscionable. It is also illegal: on Health grounds, denial of Cannabis to the population by the tyrannical edict of Prohibition 'law' constitutes Crime Against Humanity.
Of course this does not even start the explore the added health benefits that society as a whole would receive through the general uplifting of that society through the accepted and educated use of the plant.
Q. Know Has Anyone Ever Died From a Cannabis Overdose?
A. No; not even once. Throughout all history at all times. It is physically impossible to consume enough Cannabis to kill you. Judge Francis Young studied the evidence, and ruled in 1988 that "marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume." This comparison chart shows the number of deaths from selected substances in a typical year.*
Tobacco
340,000 to 425,000
Alcohol (excluding crime/accidents)
150,000 +
Legal Drug Overdose (prescription)
14,000 to 27,000
Illegal Drug Overdose
3,800-5,200
Aspirin
180 to 1000+
Marijuana
0
* Based on US Surgeon General and other statistical sources.
Nobody is dying from Cannabis use, today or ever.
Q. But I Know It Causes Violence / Leads To Hard Drugs, Destroys Society, Is Physically And Psychologically Addictve, And All Who Smoke It Will Become Bad People.
A. I'm not even going to justify this. Just go look at the facts submitted to the court contained in THE REPORT.
Who gets physically violent? Alcohol or Pot?
Cannabis works to help people block and break addictions to harder drugs.
It is chemically impossible to get 'addicted' to Cannabis. 'Psychological' dependence claims or conditions only exist in individuals with pre-existing acute mental delusions. George Washington smoked it, and look what he did.
The US Jamaican, US Costa Rican, LaGuardia studies have revealed that Cannabis contains no addictive properties in any part of the plant or its smoke. Unlike many legally available substances, Cannabis is both non-habit-forming and non-toxic.
The only crime most Cannabis users commit is obtaining and using marijuana. The US federal government reports that 71 million Americans have smoked it, and who knows how many South Africans.
Have you? ... If not you are missing out on 2 extra years of life according the research (Long-term US Jamaican, US Costa Rican, LaGuardia studies and submitted to the Constitutional court.) 8 - 24 years less if you smoke and drink. Stop drinking and smoking tobacco, start smoking Cannabis, and live up to 24 years longer then you are currently expected to.
Q. What About All Those Scary Advertiserments and Stories?
A. We have all seen that advert with the frying pan and the egg. The sensational claims of health risks cite no studies or sources at all. Others rely on a handful of inconclusive or flawed reports, such as the Shafer, LeDain and Wootton reports, which reviewed writings that claimed to be "on Cannabis:, but did no empirical research, such as those from the Jamaican, Costa Rican and LaGuardia research studies, etc.
The government uses exaggeration and scare tactics to discourage marijuana use. The tests that they offer were not conducted on humans and/or involved THC and not smoked Cannabis. Also there are no peer reviewed and duplicated test results provided by them.
The HUMAN tests on SMOKED Cannabis confirm Cannabis is uniquely safe, which means 'free of danger, risk or injury.'
As someone once said, 'I have used the most mind bending drugs, but never have I looked at a frying egg and believed it was a brian. What 'drug' do you need to be taking or delusion do you need to be suffering from to see an egg as a brain... AND THEN YOU EAT IT ?!!! You eat the egg-brain. That's so sick.'
Q. But The Adults Are Experts, and They Told Me ...(fill in the blank).
A. Well here's the problem. The Government has this disease called the 'Lying' disease. It makes them want to lie to you to control every aspect of your lives. They teach the adults the lies, and will only call them experts if they don’t think, but just repeat the lies. If they don’t say what they are being paid to say, they wont have a job or be called experts anymore.
Why not suggest to those 'experts' to submit those lies to the court under oath, and see what happens. That’s called perjury. That’s the real crime. THE REPORT submitted to the court contained the Findings of Fact. Your information is fictitious and thus incorrect.
Q. How Can We Trust Your Information?
A. The $100,000 challenge should speak volumes. But most importantly, all the Findings of Fact have been submitted into court, and not just any court, but the CONSTITUTIONAL COURT.
The reason I submitted this to court was two-fold. First was to change the laws. Second was to play on a level battleground. In court I can't submit lie's,... but neither can the government. Lets see the Government defend against the truth.
It's a plant. It's not Kryptonite Superman.
Switch off the TV, read a book, go for a walk, stop eating genetically modified Mcdonalds and KFC. START SMOKING CANNABIS.
