If
you don't like Cannabis, why don't
you try and refute the facts first.

"Nearly
all
medicines have toxic, potentially lethal effect. But marijuana is not
such a substance. There is no record in the extensive medical
literature describing a proven, documented Cannabis-induced fatality."
DEA Administrative Law Judge F.L.Young.
Cannabis:
the Findings of Fact
In the unopposed application submitted to
the
Constitutional Court by Justin Ballot Case CCT 02/10, based on the data
of the official empirical
researches and their stated conclusions, the following are Findings of
Fact from The Report:
CANNABIS . . .
1)
is not toxic in any
possible
quantity and incapable of inducing a fatality in a human.
2)
is not addictive, physically or
psychologically with no dependence.
3)
is not a pathogenic, does not
cause physical or mental deterioration, has no adverse effects to
mental or physical health.
4)
does not cause skill impairments.
5)
is benign.
6)
has no potential for abuse, or
maltreatment of the user, cannabis has no potential for harm or danger.
7)
does not cause crime.
8)
does not lead to hard drugs.
9)
mitigates, reduces and can
preclude the use of drugs.
Where Cannabis is
concerned, the
legislation of its prohibition...
1) is, in its entirety,
without
factual foundation.
2)
is based on mendacity.
3)
is itself illegal on numerous
grounds including Local, Constitutional and International Law.
4)
is perjurious in prosecution.
5)
the acts of its enforcement are a
crime per se; people persecuted thereby qualify for amnesty and
Restitution.
6)
the ignoring of these aforegoing
Findings of Fact by courts and legislature is ex parte, the crude
and
illegal denial of Justice.
The South African
government was unable to refute the facts.

How Does It Affect
Your Health?
A. After
180
years of scientific study the herb has been shown not to maltreat the
user in any way (long or short term), and in fact be helpful,
beneficial and benign. The smoke contains potential carcinogens if
isolated, but the smoking and other forms of consumption do not lead to
any possible cancers. Tobacco causes cancer due to radioactivity, but
smoking Cannabis is perfectly safe. Actually, Cannabis has been shown
to kill cancerous cells, even malignant cells. (see the 1974-1975
Medical College of Virginia tumour research instigated by the National
Institute of Health and the D.E.A. for proof of the studies)
Cannabinoids (the compounds found in the natural plant Cannabis) have
even been shown to be selective antitumour compounds, as they can kill
tumour cells without affecting their non-transformed counterparts. It
is believed that unique cannabinoid receptors regulate cell-survival
and cell-death pathways differently in tumour and non-tumour cells.
If it can kill and prevent cancer, what else can this amazing plant do?
Small doses as often as necessary are the best ways to smoke.
Some people use a "vaporizer" to release the Cannabis compounds without
burning, and some by eating it. Essential oils can also be made and
used on the skin and to cure cancer. Personally I prefer a joint, but
if you have trouble rolling them, pipes and bongs are always a hit, or
it can be taken as a life-saving beverage.
More
importantly, it
is a safe and effective medicinal herb with proven therapeutic value in
treating hundreds of symptoms and ailments, including glaucoma, MS,
asthma, arthritis, cancer, AIDS, epilepsy, nausea, anorexia,
depression, stress, etc. As DEA Administrative Law Judge F.L.Young
observed in his 1988 review of cannabis data, "about the only danger
were if a bale of it were to fall and hit you on the head."

What About All
Those Scary Advertisements and Stories?
A.
We have all seen that advert
with the frying pan and the egg. The sensational claims of health risks
cite no studies or sources at all. Others rely on a handful of
inconclusive or flawed reports, such as the Shafer, LeDain and Wootton
reports, which reviewed writings that claimed to be "on Cannabis", but
did no empirical research, such as those from the Jamaican, Costa Rican
and LaGuardia research studies, etc.
The government uses exaggeration and scare tactics to discourage
marijuana use. The tests that they offer were not conducted on humans
and/or involved Chinese synthetic man-made THC substitutes and not
smoked Cannabis. Also there are no peer
reviewed and duplicated test results provided by them.
The HUMAN tests on SMOKED Cannabis conducted by the governments confirm
Cannabis is uniquely safe,
which means 'free of danger, risk or injury.'

Has Anyone Ever
Died From a Cannabis
Overdose?
A.
No; not even once. Throughout all history and at all times. It is
physically impossible to consume enough Cannabis to kill you. Judge
Francis Young studied the evidence, and ruled in 1988 that "marijuana
is far safer than many foods we commonly consume." This comparison
chart shows the number of deaths from selected substances in a typical
year.*
Tobacco
340,000 to 425,000
Alcohol (excluding crime/accidents)
150,000 +
Legal Drug Overdose (prescription)
14,000 to 27,000
Illegal Drug Overdose
3,800-5,200
Aspirin
180 to 1000+
Marijuana
0
* Based on US Surgeon General and other statistical sources.
Nobody is dying from Cannabis use, today or ever.

SO YOU THINK
YOU KNOW ALL THE FACTS ON CANNABIS?
a) Do you know about the 1974/5 Medical College of Virginia cancer
studies ordered by the DEA?
It cures cancer.
b) Those who smoke Cannabis live on average TWO YEARS LONGER then
someone who does not smoke Cannabis, while those who drink
alcohol
and smoke tobacco live on average 8 to 24 years LESS. |
